Also, please don’t forget about the 2009 G.M.P. Banquet on Sunday, November 15th. The banquet will begin at 1:00 p.m. and once again, it will be held at the Woolmarket Community Center, on Old Woolmarket Rd (North Biloxi). We had over 200 people attend last year and some of the best food that I’ve ever consumed (and that’s saying something).
This year’s banquet will be just like last years and your only ‘entry fee’ will be to bring a covered dish. If you don’t cook, start talking with your ‘better half’ and sweet-talk her/him into making your favorite dish or if you are like me, stop by K.F.C. on your way to the banquet and bring in a bucket of the Colonel’s secret recipe.
Since I’m in charge of the food ;D , I would like to request that everyone send me a PM or e-mail so that I will know what everyone is going to bring to the banquet. This will help us to know if Ms. Peggy or Mr. J.D. will need to cook anything or not.
Finally, if you want to renew your parking spot for the 2010 racing season, you must talk with Ronald or Missy before the end of the Banquet because after 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009….all unpaid parking spots will be ‘up for sale’ with current reserved parking spot holders having the first option. I have NOTHING to do with parking so please make sure that you forward your requests with Ronald or Missy. In case you were wondering, G.M.P. reserved parking spots are ‘good’ for all races in the 2010 season, including the FIRESTONE – Gulf Coast Tri-State Series Races.
We are really looking forward to seeing everyone at the track on Nov. 14. and at the Banquet on Nov. 15th.
Plz don’t forget to send me your ‘food items’ via e-mail or PM and don’t forget to talk with Ronald/Missy about your 2010 reserved parking spot.
Less than 2 weeks and counting!
