Ladies and Gents,
In addition to our annual ‘Ladies Race’, GMP is pleased to announce $1,000 dollars in ‘extra money’ for our Aug. 29th racers.
Here’s how it will work:
$250 will be added to the largest Jr./Plate Class.
$250 will be added to the largest class between Stock Lite or Stock Medium.
$250 will be added to the largest class between Stock Heavy or Stock Super Heavy.
$250 will be added to the largest Sr. Champ Class (flathead or clone).
Thanks to Bridal and Formal Boutique – House of Tux for sponsoring the $250 to the largest plate/Jr. class.
Thanks to Bridal and Formal Boutique – House of Tux for sponsoring the $250 to the largest class between Stock Lite or Stock Medium.
Thanks to Thunder-Bolt Racing (Tech Man Randy) for sponsoring the $250 to the largest Sr. Champ Class.
Thanks to Missy Parker/GMP for sponsoring the $250 to the largest class between Stock Heavy or Stock Super Heavy.
We will keep the regular schedule with gates opening at 1:00 p.m., practice starting at 3:00 p.m. and heats/qualifying starting at 5:00 p.m.
For this Aug. 29 race, ALL of our regular classes will qualify (including our Rookies). The micro-sprints are the only class that will run a heat race. Entry fees for all classes (except Rookies and Lady Racers) will be $30, which includes the $5 transponder fee.
LADIES,
GMP will host our annual SEE JANE RUN LADIES RACE on Aug. 29th. This race is open to any/all ladies that are not ‘regular racers’. We are planning on running two of these races, Ladies Flat Kart and Ladies Champ Kart, and the entrants will draw for position and then run their Feature Race (after some practice laps of course).
The ladies will hot-lap after we are finished with qualifying and will run their Feature Races after the last ‘regular feature race’. There will be no entry fee for either of the Ladies Races.
I know that most of the ladies will be using a kart from someone on their race team but if any of our ‘regular racers’ would like to ‘loan’ their kart to someone, plz post, send me a PM or get with me at the track at our Aug. 22nd race.
