Ladies and Gents,
What a great night of racing!!! There must have been 5 or 6 races that were decided either coming off turn 4 or at the start/finish line. Even though the 100 degree weather may have kept some away, we had 114 entries and as previously posted, some of the best racing action that I have ever seen at GMP. My favorite part of the night was when in the Second Feature of the Rookie Class when we had three of those little fellows racing 3-WIDE on the back-stretch without any rubbing or bumping and by the time that they got to turn 3, the were back in line and racing just as hard when they hit the front-stretch.

I don’t have lap times for the micro-spints but Charley had the #77 rolling around the track pretty dang fast from where I was standing.
Once again, thanks to all of the racers for putting on a GREAT SHOW Saturday night. As we always say, you had a choice on where to spend your Saturday afternoon, you chose us and WE DANG SURE APPRECIATE IT!
I’ll get the points updated ASAP.
Finally, please keep Calvin/Wayne Martin in your thoughts and prayers. Calvin’s grandfather, Mr. T.C. Martin, passed away this weekend and I know that Mr. T.C. was Calvin’s biggest fan.
