ICE-Breaker at GMP - Feb. 28, 2009
After weeks and weeks of waiting, the 2nd Annual ICE-Breaker is finally upon us.
We can't wait to see everyone and we are excited about kicking off the 2009 racing season.
1st pre-ICE-Breaker Practice (weather permitting)
Feb. 22, 2009 - Sunday afternoon practice
Gates will open at 11am, practice from 1pm until 5pm
$5 per person gate admission
2nd/Final pre-ICE-Breaker Practice (weather permitting)
Feb. 27, 2009 - Friday night practice
Gates will open at 3pm, practice from 5pm until 9pm
$5 per person gate admission
1st Race of 2009 - Ice, Ice baby! (old school)
Feb. 28, 2009 - 2nd Annual ICE-Breaker
8:00 a.m. - Gates open
9:00 a.m. - Tech/safety inspection
10:00 a.m. - Practice begins
Noon - Qualifying begins (features to follow)
Additional info
* ALL feature races will be 20 laps
* Transponders will be used in ALL classes
* $55 per class entry fee (this includes the $5 transponder fee)
* Payback will be 50% (1st), 25% (2nd), 15% (3rd) and 10% (4th)
* ICE-Breaker trophies for ALL 1st place finishers
* ALL karts must complete safety tech before qualifying begins
* Ronald will add $50 dollars for every 10 entries in a class (so if you have 20 karts in your class, GMP will add $100)
* Please don't forget that fire resistant pants/jacket or jumpsuit is required for ALL champ drivers.
