I am looking to see if racers would be interested in a Open class that would bring back some good competitive Power Racing. - The class would consist of motors that would range in the upper teen's to upper 20 HP range. - The type of motors could be any flathead or 6.5 OHV built to open. 305's would be allowed but only if it has a stock stoke crank. No Billet heads would be allowed on any motors. - NO 2 stroke motors. Also, this would allow racers with F200 motors to run them stock or open them up like I had done with my Kohler XKE (Wild Mule).
We raced at the Cajun Indoor and I asked some of the Open racers about this type of class and I had a favorable reaction. The reason I would leave out 2 stoke is due to fairness of competition on the track. I know on smaller tracks it could be handling and tires, but it would be fun to run on a number of different tracks with a class like this.
Read and tell me what you racers think! You can email me or call me at 225-953-3903 or post on here. Also, send any suggestions and lets try those open racers back to the track and bring in more.
